Apple Watch Series 8 will keep the design of Series 7

We expected major changes in design back in the seventh generation. Renders of new watches with flat edges appeared on the Web, but in the end we got the same device, only with a slightly larger display and an on-screen keyboard. According to rumors, a flat model did exist, but it was not completed in time for release. And it looks like Apple is facing the same problem this year.

Apple Watch Series 8 will not only receive the same processor as Series 7, only under a different name, but in terms of design will not change. There will still be 41 and 45 mm versions, the old straps will fit the new watch. This was announced by an insider ShrimpApple Pro. Previously, he was the first to talk about the new iPhone 14 Pro dual-punch display, which was later confirmed by Bloomberg and other reputable sources.

Watches will lose the titanium version: only aluminum and steel will remain. The aluminum watch will be available in Midnight (navy blue), Starlight (golden beige), Product RED, plus a base silver model. Steel does not imply fun: there are only silver and graphite gray versions to choose from.

In addition, the Apple Watch Series 8 will receive a new box protection. Thanks to the reinforced adhesive, it will not be possible to open it and put it back together without visible damage.

All this information applies only to the basic Series 8. Together with them, the Apple Watch 8 Pro will debut (perhaps even without the eight in the name) – a top-end watch with a more durable case designed for active sports.
