Pac-Man is waiting for a live adaptation from the creator of "Sonic the Movie"

Bandai Namco, publisher of the Pac-Man series of games, has launched a full-length live-action film set in the universe. It is reported by THR with reference to an insider.

The film adaptation will be done by Wayfarer Studios, which has so far released only two films on wide screens: “A Feet Apart” (2019) and “Clouds” (2020). The project will be based on the original idea of Chuck Williams. He is known as a producer and author of the idea of ” Sonic in the Movies “, and in the nineties and zero he worked on cult Disney cartoons (“The Lion King”, “Hercules”, “Aladdin”, “Beauty and the Beast” and many others).

The plot of Pac-Man is simple: you play as an ever-hungry yellow monster who travels through the maze, collecting dots and escaping ghosts. Although the idea of a film adaptation of this seems strange, in fact, the series had two of them: Disney XD’s Pac-Man in the Haunted World and ABC’s Pac-Man.
