A useful innovation was found in the latest beta version of the WhatsApp messenger: the ability to undo deleting a message. The corresponding button appears at the bottom of the application. It will hang for a few seconds after you click “Delete”, allowing the user to notice the error – and fix it.
This feature will be a life saver for those who regularly erase something important by mistake or click “Delete from me” instead of “Delete from everyone”.
So far, this feature is not even available to all users of the beta version of WhatsApp, so it’s too early to talk about the timing of its public release.
