According to the Telegram channel “Film Production News”, the series “Pishcheblok” from “Kinopoisk” will still receive a continuation. The first season was released from May to July 2021, but so far nothing has been announced about the second.
Insiders report that the list of creators has changed almost completely. Instead of Sreda, the film company Lunapark, owned by Dmitry Nelidov, one of the producers of the first season, will be producing. Svyatoslav Podgaevsky will be replaced as director by Eduard Bordukov (“The Box”, “On the Edge”).
If the first season was filmed based on the novel of the same name by Alexei Ivanov, then the plot of the second is already a completely original story. The script is handled by Sergei Kaluzhanov (Major, the second season of Method), while Alexander Talal worked on the first season. Plot details are being kept under wraps for now.
Kinopoisk has not yet officially announced the sequel, but Filmmaking News reports that the premiere of the second season is planned for 2023.
