On September 2, the first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power aired on Amazon Prime Video. It is based on the novels of J. R. Tolkien and takes you to the Second Age of Middle-earth – thousands of years before the events of the films with Frodo and Bilbo Baggins.

The film adaptation of Horizon Zero Dawn has found showrunners

Steve Blackman, showrunner for The Umbrella Academy , has confirmed in an interview with Netflix Tudum that he will be the showrunner for the Horizon Zero Dawn live-action series. At the same time, Blackman revealed his colleague on the series: this is Michelle Loveretta, who is responsible for the scripts for The Umbrella Academy, Call of Blood, and The Secret Circle. The two of them will act as showrunners and writers.

Details about the plot of the film adaptation are not yet available. It is only known that the main character will be Aloy – as in the games Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West. True, the release is still far away: now Blackman is busy working on the fourth and concurrently final season of Umbrella.

The authors of “Rick and Morty” promised to release a season a year – perhaps indefinitely

During an interview with The Wrap, series creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland said that there will be no more two-year breaks between seasons: new episodes will be released annually. They also noted that theoretically the animated series could last at least 20 seasons – like The Simpsons. There would be a desire for a channel and decent views.
