'House of the Dragon' season 2 could feature Henry Cavill and Elizabeth Olsen

In the wake of the success of the first episodes of Dragon House , more and more rumors about the further development of the series appear on the Web. So, several insiders said that HBO is going to involve Henry Cavill and Elizabeth Olsen in the project.

Several media outlets wrote about this with reference to the well-known journalist and insider Daniel Richtman, who often shares interesting details about the upcoming series.

So far, these are just rumors, which should be treated with a considerable amount of skepticism. After all, the same Cavill is now busy filming The Witcher and his appearance in another major show looks rather doubtful. And to attract an actor of this magnitude for a small role is hardly justified.

As for Olsen, she has recently been busy with Marvel projects, but now the actress’s schedule is quite suitable for joining a new big project.

Recall that earlier it became known about the departure of showrunner Miguel Sapochnik from the House of the Dragon – after three grueling years of work on the first season, he will leave the project. Ryan Condal will remain sole showrunner and will continue to develop the series alongside George R.R. Martin. Alan Taylor will also join this team as an executive producer. He directed seven episodes of Game of Thrones, including the second season finale, and was nominated for an Emmy Award for the episode “Beyond the Wall.”
